still learning this game, what is a "overlay"? i'm sure most here know the answer, but please explaine it to me. i need all the help i can get.

Overlay means horse is going off at higher odds than you rate his chances at.....(example you think a horse should be 3-1 odds and he is going off at 10-1 a definate overlay..

Underlay means horse going off at odds under than you rate his chances....(example you think a horse should be 3-1 odds and
he is going off at 1-1 (even money) a definate underlay)
