That is almost exactly my standard P3 strategy if I can't narrow down below 3 contenders and I find it works pretty well. Any where I can't get 4 or less contenders in a leg is a no play unless I have a single or double in both of the other legs. I always top it with a $5 or $10 A/A/A. A few extra bucks can really jack up the profits if you are dead on with your tops. It is exactly this strategy I used when I hit good a couple weeks back. Congrats on your day!

Can you explain your stratgey in more detail. Are you usinf all of those variaiton in one pick three or are those 4 separate pick three in differeny races?

husker, that diagram was just one pick three. looks like he rolls it three deep to cover 5 races, thus 35x5 ...175. my only caveat is -- i can't find 5 nitty-gritty races in a DAY sometimes; laddy's found 5 straight @ 1 track.
