A heads up to the growing legion of PA forum members that participate (and win)
in our free Handicapping contests in the Round Table forum at ThoroughbredChampions.com.

We will begin a month long contest for December
where we place an imaginary $2 Win - $2 Place - $2 Show wager every weekend
on the horse of your choice.
Some of you already known this contest by the name of the Six Shooter.

Courtesy of the Daily Racing Form:

Top scorer for the month of December wins:
60 cards of Formulator past performance downloads.

2nd and 3rd place players receive a DRF tee-shirt for your efforts.

You're not required to play a horse on all 4 weekends,
but since the scoring is done in aggregate fashion,
interested players might want to start planning for this weekend.

Okay opening weekend of stellar selections are underway.
For those who are in need of a further explanation:

It's all about selecting one horse per weekend.
Post an explanation on why you've selected that horse
and the scorekeepers will do the rest
by placing an imaginary $2 win-place-show wager for you.

Your horse may run on any Friday-Saturday-Sunday or Monday

Play once ($6 invested) or all four weeks ($24 invested in December).
The total monthly investment does not matter actually.
The highest cumulative mutuel total takes home the accolades
as well as a 60 race card DRF Formulator package
in time for Gulfstream and Santa Anita.

Hope to see more of you PA sharp shooters for this special edition.
It's free to enter and as a volunteer for the contest,
I wish all prospective players good racing luck. :)

CLICK: SIX SHOOTER LEADERBOARD :) (http://thoroughbredchampions.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24876)

The leaderboard is up after the first week of "best bets".
At the top is a player who came up with the 10/1 winner
of the Hollywood Turf Cup, Pellegrino.

Three more weekends of selecting remain for the month of December.
That's plenty of time to add to your scores.
Cumulative scores determine the 3 winners.

As if handicapping Mountaineer wasn't challenging enough for us
- the weather will probably come into play.
There is a strong possibility of "lake effect snow"in the region this evening.

A good chance to make a score for those who keep track
of who runs well on the "white stuff".
Awaiting the first hand forecast from the local yokels. :)
