he keeps running the same race--slow start, trouble wide
always finishes like he is the best horse but keeps failing

If he cen get a decent start and avoid trouble and not go wide wide etc etc

maybe this time is the charm

AT 5-1 ml or above it might be worth another shot, but he will probably be bet down by the fact that he keeps looking like he should win the damn race...and in that case he's not worth it

I'm only chiming in here becaue you asked, so here goes.

The horse is one of 8 (out of 8) in the race with a chance. This is a low level claimer for Hollywood. Look out for #7, Martinblestme as a horse with lots of back class. This isn't the type of race that I like to play as I can't really distinguish the contenders from the pretenders. I would feel better about your pick if there was a pressured pace scenario to set up Spend Spend Spend.

The pick, either stay out of the race or insist on a big price on your pick. Good luck.
