Neil Drysdale's Kentucky Derby prospect Sunday Break (Jpn), a son of Forty Niner, has landed in an allowance race at Aqueduct for Wednesday with Gary Stevens named to ride breaking from post 2. It goes as the sixth race, at nine furlongs. The field is compact, with just six runners.

Todd Pletcher has a pair in as well, with the entry of Tomahawk Lake (Migliore-post 5) and Smoked Em (Velazquez-post 6).

The other runners are Gary Contessa's Peruvian Summer (Davis-post 1), Nick Zito's Iwin (Chavez-post 3), and Pat Kelly's Dr. Rockett (Bridgmohan-post 4).

It appears some of these trainers might be using this as a prep into the Wood Memorial.

Drysdale is running out of time with SUNDAY BREAK. He wanted to run in the race at SA a week ago (San Felipe) but passed because the colt was having a "growth spurt".

There's a different excuse! Would he pass on the Kentucky Derby if the horse was having another "growth spurt" leading up to the first Saturday in May? (If the horse was targeting for the race, that is).
