Here are my "key" horses for the Pick Six carryover at Aqueduct this afternoon. The pool starts at $105,610 but should be in the high 300 to low 400K range once all the money pours in.
----prior to scratches being announced----
4th- LYCENSE TO WIN: showed some speed in last and was much closer to the pace than he had been in the previous starts. I like the cutback to 7f's today.
5th- WILD SUMMER: part of the Michael Gill entry. One of the runners will be scratched as Monterrey is named on both entry runners. WILD SUMMER was claimed 2 back but looks like this one was over his head at Delaware.
6th- MY SNOOKIE'S BOY: I hate to make an 8/5 favorite my key to the race but this one just looks to strong for the remaining 4 runners.
7th- MY HUSBAND: very competitive race and I can't see anyone being a strong favorite. Hot trainer takes this gelding off the turf and shortens up.
8th- DUCHESS COUNTY: would be my price play of the day. Fought traffic in her last and ran a nice race 2 back. Gets Prado today and should be a decent price.
9th- HURRICANE HANNAH: nice effort off the shelf in last. Another runner who gets a jock change to Prado.
Very competitive card.
