Stabbing a woman in the back ? , Boy this guy is a low life. I wonder what kind of treatment you get in the Pokey for stabbing a woman in the back ?

A stabbing in the back "side?"

I can hear him now..."Hey, that's not a knife!"

What a massive waste of talent... Right along the lines of Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Len Bias.. just sad..

"I let alcohol take over my life. I wish I could take it back."

Case, 43, pleaded guilty in September to felonious assault for stabbing his wife, Nadine, in the back with a steak knife.

"I have spent 142 days in jail and not a day goes by when it doesn't chew me up," he said. "I owe Nadine an apology. I have two teenage boys and should have been a role model for them. I should have been a role model for harness racing. I feel I let everybody down."

that is a little bit from the article. it is a shame that it takes some people that long to figure out their problems. at least he is now realizing how bad he screwed up. too bad it took what it did for him to find out.

Yeah, I remember being loaded one night at the track and betting $200 to win on a horse at the SAM machine when I meant to bet $20, then watching the race go off before I could cancel it... Losing of course.

That's when I realized heavy drinking and betting don't mix well..
