If Michael Moore was sincere in his intentions with F 9/11, why this?

http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=internetNews&storyID=6680923

Why not just air it on regular TV? I'm sure CBS or NBC would have aired F 9/11 in its entirety, uncut, just as they did Schindlers List a few years ago. After all, a work this important should be seen by as many people as possible, in its original form, correct?

So why is Mike charging? If he's going to show it on cable or the dish network, then he should be giving it away for FREE on this one day (monday), if he truly wants everyone to see such a great and truthful documentary.

Is $$$ all that Mike cares about? Come on Mike, for one day, show it for FREE! Let EVERYONE see the truth!

Or maybe it is really all about the $$$.....hmmmmmmm.....

The two-hour film will be priced on all three platforms at $9.95 per showing. Moore and the Fellowship Adventure Group, which holds rights to the movie, will donate their portion of the profits to a veterans charity, Benoit said.

A lot of good that does for all the Americans who are supposedly penniless b/c of the "Bush economy". If one has no money, he can't pay to watch 'effed up 9-11'.

Maybe Michel has moore faith in our strong economy than he leads us on to believe...

"Portion"

And this still doesn't address the fact that more people would be able to see the movie if it were shown for FREE. The point is to get as many people to SEE the movie as possible, correct?
