First of all congratulations to Valuist for a truly remarkable performance. And of course Bubbles the "logistical genius" who pulled this all together.

This post is NOT for them, it's for the "capping challenged". Of which I've been a not so proud member of the past 46 years. The following are two very simple & easy to use BC Betting Systems that have shown a profit for the past 5 out of 6 years. Absolutely No 'capping is required.

#1

You simply bet $2.00 to win ON EVERY ENTRY. Hard to believe but nevertheless true. Here are the results for the past 6 BCs.

1999---Bet-- 202 collect 219---- + 8%

2000---Bet-- 206 collect 282.40 +37%

2001---Bet-- 188 collect 136 - 27%

2002---Bet-- 180 collect 202 +12%

2003---Bet---180 collect 264 +47%

2004---Bet---182 collect 184.20 +1%

#2

Here's another BC system, once again NO 'capping involved that has produced even better results. Has never lost in the past 6 years.

You simply bet EVERY HORSE WITH ODDS AT 20-1 or above.
You want proof, I'll give you proof.

1999--bet--82 collect 129.60 +58%

2000--Bet--82 collect 209.80 +155%

2001--Bet--74 collect 74 -------

2002--Bet--62 collect 143 + 132%

2003--Bet--68 collect 186.60 + 175%

2004--Bet--60 collect 116.40 +97%

Next year I'm simply taking the easy way out & using both of the above.

Both of these "no brainer" systems in profit tells me that there is a lot of "dead money" in the BC pools. Triple crown exacta and tri pools have been my favorite plays because of the "dead money " effect.

on the msn website the breeder cup was among the top five most frequented keywords the days following up to the event.
i agree with you alot of "dumb" money goes into the big races, such as the derby and the breeders cup, from once a year bettors.
not at all like the day- to- day betting at the tracks.
better talk now was a run of the mill figure- horse bet in my equsim program, on a regular racing day he would have probably given me no more than 5-1 odds.

Not to nitpick, but they claim 7 of 9 winners, when in fact they had 5 winners on top. Still an awesome day, but how do they get the 7 winners number? I guess they're going down to their third choice.....

Your skepticism is warranted.

I read this press release last week -- and make no mistake about it, this is a press release, not a news story. The link you provided is the press release word-for-word.

But it's the worst kind of red-boarding. It's one thing for the guy at the local OTB parlor to walk around talking about all the winners he has -- after the fact. It's quite another for a business to do it in order to attempt to suck in new customers.

Essentially what this PR is saying is: Hey, we didn't tell anybody beforehand, but hey! our picks were pretty good!

And then -- in what is clearly a blatant attempt to get press coverage, they throw in the baloney about firing people because their "winning" picks weren't supplied to customers.

Yeah right.

And, as Pace points out -- their claims live in the same realm as the tout sheet sellers who stand outside a track and yell about all the winners they had yesterday -- if you went down to their third or fourth pick...

This seems to be nothing but typical advertising to me. How do you think their 'clients' feel. "Oh, we had them, but we didn't get them to you". Is any of what they say timestamped? I don't know. Anyone on PA a member there and can tell us what they gave you BC day? If so, you beleive this?
