A couple of trends against Kela in the BCS.

In the twenty runnings of the Sprint, only once has a horse won with a jockey that had not ridden it in the last ten races. (1994 Cherokee Run) Sixteen of the twenty winners had the same jockey as last race. Since 1995 the winner of the Sprint was ridden by the same jockey that rode it in the last race.

Only four Sprint winners have won the race without winning a race carrying at least 120 lbs. Those winners are: 1997, Elmhurst 16.6-1, 1995, Desert Strormer 14.5-1, 1993 Cardmania 5.3-1 and 1989, Dancing Spree 16.6-1. (Dancing Spree did carry 133lbs just before the BCS in a third place finish.)

One trend against Clock Stopper (I hate to say this because I think Pat Day is a great jockey) is that Pat Day has never won the sprint. His record is 17-0-1-2-14. His record in the Classic is much better. 20-4-5-2-8.
