Coincidentally, something similar happened when Navarro claimed the horse himself about 2 years ago from Mike Maker. The horse's solid form took a nose dive and Navarro tried to unload him with class drops every start. Eventually, horse came back around to the Maker form after a few months.

the most troubling thing about navarro was everyone knew he was cheating and the sport couldn't do anything about it. that is a weak sport. if not for the fbi this guy would still be doing it. the sport needs a national commissioner. without one you get things like bob baffert and jason servis training horses for the same people that are supposed to be watching over them. it is a system built to allow cheaters to thrive.

Monmouth and any track that let Navarro race should have banned him. Everyone knew he was doping. Navarro was one of the most obvious cheaters I've ever seen.

I feel bad for the horse and NOT Navarro. Guy should have left before he got caught.

"Everyone knew" Barry Bonds was cheating too, but he played until he was 42.

"Everyone knew" about blood doping in track, cycling, etc. but it still went on for years and years.

"Everyone knew" is not legally binding.
