He gave me a free trail for a week and then asked me to purchase his book/System. Nothing good in my mind. Same bs system goers have in them: same information we have already seen. Grids are cool though, but not a new way to Handicap seriously without pps. Pricing is fair.

The clue to this sham is when you open this website, you see:

How Did I earn $170,988 in one year betting on horses? There are a lot of good handicappers on this site and I will make a $2 wager, that not one of them made anywhere near that amount of money last year.

If I made that much in a year, I certainly wouldn't be selling my secrets (Grid).

Many of these have some similar aspects, but none of them are the same. The Icons on FCR were excellent, I just had a great feel for that program and unfortunately its gone forever.

Have you seen BetMix?

I have.

I just don't want to do that much manual experimentation, and that is just info overload. I'm sure it works for some, not really for me.

What people could do instead of bashing it is actually try it first. There's at least 1 free Grid given per week along with picks and long shot specials, which routinely hit the board. But you could just sit back and bash it instead without actually trying it. And BTW it is def calcs that you can NOT get anywhere else. That's a fact. There's just no way that is possible.

When you make $170K in a year betting horses...you don't have time to be posting on some internet forum.
The rest of us seem to have plenty of time :D

So this is almost a complete lie. You may have been given a free trial but nobody asked you to buy anything. Also, if it's not a way to seriously handicap, look at some of the recent report cards.

I personally feel there is no need to bash anyone.

You have posted cards after the fact that were hand picked by yourself. Why not post a few cards before the fact. Let the potential user judge for themselves if in fact your grid has any value. I would be very curious to see how they perform.

Hopefully, this would be acceptable by this sites administration.

Just to let those that are interested in what I think is a formidable and fast handicapping device. Yep, you guessed it. " The Grid".

Dalton, the provider was very forthcoming with me and generously provided a free weekend using his grids. I enjoyed using them and found his numbers to be better and more accurate then most. I have had multiple double digit win horses in the past 3 days that I have been using this application.
I am strictly a win bettor with the occasional place bet if the odds are high enough.
I am attaching a snapshot of today's 4th race at PID which happened less then an hour ago.
Please see the attached file

One thing you might learn from it is, never look a gift horse in the mouth.:D

I have been testing the "Grids" for the past month and have found that
the adverse comments and bashing of this product and it's provider were totally unfounded, unnecessary and uncalled for.
I have had some amazing results with this tool and will continue to use it,
I am attaching some recent contest results from the Hawthorne Online contest. I have had similar success in the Thoro-Enduro contest at RPX

which I can verify as well. I have gained over 800 positions in the past few weeks and am now in the top 10%. I used the "Grids" as my stand alone application.

It amazes me as to how short sighted and uninformed some people can be. I am approaching my 84th birthday and still have the facilities to learn and master a truly worthwhile application.
This application is an easy to use, quick and formidable tool that has produced some very impressive results for me. Like everything else, it's all in how this tool can be used to one's best advantage.
Unfortunately, there are those that don't have the capabilities or where with all to master this excellent application.
Please see the attached files.

Here's the latest update on my experience and disappointment using the Grids;

I have to admit my disappointment is with the provider as opposed to the product.

I liked the product because it was easy to use and complimented other applications I chose to use. The strength of the Grids that it was quick to use with reasonably good numbers which allowed me to do a fairly accurate pace analysis.

However, the biggest drawback for me was the provider and his lack of responsibility and attitude towards his client(s). There was also poor communication on the providers part. His response was slow or none at all. It seems his People skills leave alot to be desired.

He goes by the user name Dalton but I am led to believe that name is purely fictiuous. Evidently, he does want anyone to know who he is.
He says he lives in Orlando but I am doubtful this is the case.

He had to be reminded to post certain tracks which he conveniently left out and started, as of late, to not post at all. there was also issues navigating the website and recently a file link that could not be downloaded. There was also the occasional website crash.

I apologize to those that posted prior comments about this supplier.
I now believe they were justified. I don't approve of bashing anyone but in this instance I believe the prior comments were very deserving.
In any case, I would no longer recommend dealing with him or using his product.:bang: One thing is for damn sure, I won't.

Actually and at my age, I do have a few health issues which comes with the territory.

Horse racing is my passion and keeps my mind active. Being competitive helps as well.

I speak to my many of friends on a daily basis and compare notes on different handicapping devices and techniques.
Horse racing gives me a purpose in life.

I can't afford to dwell on the negative.
Being successful at handicapping is my motivation and keeps my mind sharp.

I would like to thank sites like PaceAdvantage, UpInClass and even sites like Pace&Cap, where I totally disagree with and am opposed to much but not all of the Sartin Methodology and it's content and where I am no longer welcome.
I guess opposing view points are not favorable on that site and in my opinion, that is why the site is a dying entity. The limited content speaks for itself.:bang:

I made many friends on these sites. ;)

Does it really matter Bill? We were promised a version for bris files then he signed a contract to only use trackmaster. I basicly said good luck fool and kept in contact with some and did not look back. It is like everyone in a position to grow the sport took the easy road that has killed the sport. I suspect you and I both found the same black holes in the methology and have done better than fair in exploiting them. We were well served by events and did not share what we found with anyone right? Now we see sportsbooks cutting back and investing instead in sports betting, natural order right? Any day it is good to read your posts as they are very distinctive with your flair.

Steve,

I appreciate your response.

I am a firm believer in "No good deed goes unpunished"'
"Payback is a bitch" and the statement that I admittedly made to another member in a heated discussion that was used as a premise to remove me from the site. "You can't fix stupid". :bang: Extreme partiality was
exercised by the administrator in favor of that member who was a paying subscriber. This was something that I was not and would never be.

Marketing and money takes precedent over what I consider to be my reliable assessment, honest appraisal and opinion of the forums content, methodology and supporting product.

Opposing opinions are obviously not welcomed and suppressed.
What happened to Mr. Right?

Like I asked, does it really matter? Turning the page is the correct path, we both had everything long before it was watermarked. That being said we also enjoyed all of it and more, how many have been more than generous with time when alive and now gone. Chew on it some, turning the page is as easy as enjoying new friends in todays light.

Steve,

I appreciate and respect your thinking and wise words of wisdom as well as your concern on my behalf.

I guess I really shouldn't care and it really shouldn't matter to me because it didn't happen to you.

This type of thinking might apply to the masses but certainly does not sit well with me.

I will never appreciate the insensitive, unfeeling and unjust course of action taken against me by the administrator of the aforementioned site.

As you might suspect, I am not a very forgiving type of person.
