Gulfstream 4/30-Saffie and Happy Alter is Back

I used to love Gulfstream's championship meet but since they've gone to almost year round racing I tend to get killed there and avoid. Perusing the entries today, may play something if I get bored (I actually made some money on Fonner last night), I see Saffie has several apparently live runners. I know there is another thread but how's he been doing since the arrests?

Also noticed, the great Happy Alter has at least one entered. He was a good trainer back in the day.

SAFFIE numbers since the arrest are DOWN. I do NOT have a exact percentage but his numbers are DEFINITELY lower.

If you look at Saffie closely, a lot of his winners have been big drop downs at short prices. This isn't the Saffie we saw in January and February. I'll leave it to others to explain that.

Any insights to share on the card?I'm having a good year horse betting wise, but since the start of the year, after checking my records, I might have to stop playing GP....Something is terribly amiss, can't quite pin it down, but it's just not worth the effort to untangle their nonsense...

RFTR and Tom both have expressed their distain for GP, I now have joined those ranks.....Love Tampa, no problems of any kind.

I have to laugh at myself. I tossed his runner in the just completed 8th at Gulfstream today. And of course, he wins, while I run 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
