Just came across this

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/columnist/dan-wolken/2020/03/09/horse-racing-doping-scheme-puts-sport-on-clock-clean-up-close-doors/5001778002/

My guess, nothing will ever change. This problem CAN be fixed (no pun intended), but there is just not the will. Instead, horse racing will go the way of dog racing and for all intents and purposes, just disappear.

Everytime I see a horse hold on to win after setting impossible fractions, I no longer think "what a special performance", but rather wonder if the horse was on the "juice". Every time I see another horse die at Santa Anita, I now wonder, was he on the "juice"? What a shame.

This was obviously huge news six weeks ago when it happened. COVID19 kind of put it on the back burner but I'm sure this isn't the end of it. This article is from around that time so nothing really new to see.

So you're saying his same post didn't need to be made twice?
