This is the message I get when I try to open a picture.

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
Create an association in folder options control panel.

I don't know how!!!!!!!!!!

so. cal.

What is the format of the picture you are receiving?

as an example

ralphissuchastud.jpg

or

ralphissuchadud.bmp

or

ralphissuchafatass.gif

the important points are:

can you choose to save the picture to your desktop?

if so, do that and tell us what the last 3 letters are after the period......... i.e. jpg gif bmp etc........if you have to, right click on the picture and hit "properties" to see what kind of file it is. Or forward the email to me at socal@justralph.com and I will look at it for you.........

it should open with windows "fax and picture viewer"

Save it to your desktop and right click on it . Choose 'open with"

a window will open with a few choices. One is " choose a program" click on "choose program" and choose "windows picture and fax viewer" or whatever graphics program you want to use (if you have paint shop pro or photoshop or something else you prefer, choose it) when you do this make sure the little box at the bottom is checked that says "always use the selected program to open this kind of file" then it should always open with that program in the future.

if you choose the wrong program, don't sweat it.........you can always do this again and re-set the association.
