At Delaware today, Bris Supertote had the #6 post position in race 7 listed on their site as a scratch but with the name of the #5 horse.
Quite Naturally, one of my programs, which parses scratches and processes them automatically, picked up and scratched the #6 horse from the race based on the post position listed on their site.
Also, quite naturally, I failed to notice this when playing the race.
Also, quite naturally, had my program not wrongly scratched the #6 it would have picked it as a play.
Also, quite naturally, the #6 horse Yo Cuz won the 7th race today at Delaware and paid $24.60.
Now, quite naturally, I'm more than a little pissed off.
....In fact for the span of about about 5 minutes I was stomping around the house and throwing things. There's an old softball trophy sitting in pieces all over the back patio that won't be collecting any more dust around here.
Don't ask. Somehow trashing inatimate objects (and the thought of some of you laughing about it) helps. <gr>
