Some racing going on, but the Gov closed all NV Casinos so now I have no way to bet. I know no online provider that will take bets from NV since he state made it illegal years ago.

That is why, IMHO, No dates should be changed, not even the Derby. All should go without access to public, Open for those dates alternative OTB and free TV everywhere, All of them should get a lot of sponsors to cover the lack of public.
With everybody at home the rating would skyrocket and bets open to all districts might dwarf any previous records.
That needs a high level of deals but this is a once in a lifetime occurring.
All would apply to races for 3yo in a balance way so Pen Derby, Travers, WV Derby, etc, etc will keep the dates.
The real problem here is CD.

With what is transpired this week, the betting will dry up shortly and racing will also make it a business decision to stop. Soon people won’t know when there next paycheck will come and they won’t be looking to put what they have into the betting market.

You can't do the TC even with no public access. The owners will demand to come, and the media presence will be too large. You can only get away with racing with no public access because the races are minor.

I don't think much of scheduling the TC in the fall, but it's that or nothing.

The takeout % that a track gets is significantly different for on-track vs ADW betting. Couple that with the price to get in the first weekend of May, and it's easy to see why it was rescheduled

Good question. I wonder if Wm Hill is taking bets at all considering that their operations are all shut down.

I hink that only applies to sports, not racing. With sports closed I don't imagine they're up and running either.
