NY Post reports a holdup late Saturday, March 8th at Aqueduct;
"Two masked men ,wearing surgical masks, held up two workers and a security guard as they were money the cash after the conclusion of the races late Saturday-and the heist had all the hallmarks of an inside job"
The amount of cash is $270,000; Interesting though is on line wagering probably prevented a larger loss.
Importantly, unless there is undercover security at Aqueduct and Belmont,(doubtful) this occurrence should benchmark the requirement for security to protect the public and staff.
