President Bush signed into law today a bill that formally
ends the 30%witholding tax non-residents pay when cashing
any wager over 300-1. There is an article on the Bloodhorse
site with respect to this.
Hopefully some time next year Canadians and Americans can
wager in the same U.S. pools. I dislike wagering into the
shallow pools of the OJC where the payoffs can really be
substantially different than their U.S. counterparts.

This is great news for us. Especially nice for the evening racing which draws very small pools.
