Second Pick-4 at Big A

Just heard Johnnie I. on the NYRA replay show say that there will "probably" be a second pick 4 added to the NYRA betting menu when the Big A opens next week. They are likely waiting on the Racing and Wagering Board in Albany. Personally I would like to see a $1 base pick-5, like at the Oak Tree Meet, but I'll settle for a second Pick-4.

NYRA will have a second pick four on each racing program beginning with race two. The original pick four comprises the last four races on the daily program. With Wednesday's shift to Aqueduct, NYRA will further have additional superfecta opportunities other than the last race only as is currently on the betting menu at Belmont Park.
