I have negative notes on :8::9::10:
and timeformUS projects a "Fast" Pace w/ :2: into the teeth of the pace...

These horses include the morning line favorite, and take up a significant slice of the wagering pie.

The 'logical' horse to gravitate to, is the :5: Prospective Belle.
I don't have any significant opinion, other than that I do not disagree that the :5: is extremely logical, should the above factors play a significant role in the outcome.
TimeformUS has him in the contenders. Last race may be fast enough. Flashy work. 1st-off-the-claim Mike Pino.

Your :5: was behind the 8-ball, (gate behavior and) hard around that first turn. Didn't even get a fair chance to prove anything in the stretch run. I didn't like her, but she did get an awful trip today, and is better than she showed.

That :10: had enough horse and didn't fold today.

The action underneath in the exotics did play out to the scenario, but the 'Win' on Top is what we wanted...

Generous prices if you focused on the :5: as a 'key' and used the horses discussed.

Screening = 10/10. I found a good betting race.


Fundamental Analysis = 5/10 :ThmbDown: I was right about the false morning-line favorite, but I dismissed the :10:. I also should have noted the class with the :11: to close late for a piece.

Valuation = 1/10. I made a 'Rookie Mistake', by 'committing' to my opinion, and disregarding the fact that the :10:'s price was getting high enough, that she could be considered, in spite of the negatives. I was wise within my error, that I only bet $3, that the :5: was a logical 'key', and it did finish :10::5::4:.

hindsight is 20/20
