Which Eclipse Award(s) should Kitten's Joy if he wins the Turf?

My feeling is Champion Turf horse, 3 yo (sorry Smarty) and maybe HOY.

Turf horse, sure, 3yo, maybe, HOY, depends who wins the Classic.

Turf is already his win or not. If Birdstone does not win the Classic he should get three year old honors as well as HOY.

I think Pleasantly Perfect, Ghostzapper, and maybe even Roses In May would all beat out Kitten's Joy as HOY with a Classic win. Azeri too if they take that route and she were to somehow win. Like it or not, turf racing is a second class citizen in the US.

What if Birdstone wins the Classic? With wins in the Belmont, Travers and BC Classic how could he be denied HOY?

Yes, no doubt, the other poster had mentioned him, I meant mine to be in addition to him, not clear on my part.
