Is there anyone out there that can tell me if there is any handicapping software available that will allow me to use anywhere from 1 to 3 pacelines of my own choosing ?
I'm tired of these programs that pick the pacelines automatically!!

Thanks,

Winning At The Track uses up to 8 lines. HorseracingUSA will get you to their web site.

Thorobrain5 can select your own pace line.

HTR lets you do so as well
at
www.htr2.com.

That's what I use and love it.

Do you want to average the three lines aor see thim individually?
HTR will average them, MPH will show each line singley.
MPH is Modern Pace Handicapping by Tom Brohammer and was written Ken MAssa, of HTR fame. It is a velocity based prgram.

Hi Tom.

What I'd like to do is average 3 decent pacelines if the races are claiming, allowance and or stakes.
With maidens, it all depends on how many races they have under their belts. If they're pretty much green maidens, then I want to use the best single paceline within it's last three starts.
I'm heading over to check-out that web-site you mentioned.

Thanks a Bunch,

Multiple self selected pacelines are available with Equisim also.

Equisim (http://www.thorotech.com/)

Thanks Plainolebill.
Do you use Equisim or know someone that does?
If so, fill me in on what you know about it.

JR's provided the link for the forum over there and that would be a great place to ask questions.

RaidersA. whats a couple tracks you play?

RaidersAzeri

The tracks I play are, Hollywood, Del Mar, Santa Anita, Belmont, Aquaduct, Saratoga, Churchill Downs, Keenland and last but not least, Oaklawn.
I was looking at Lone Star, but there's no money there just yet.
I guess I'll just have to wait until the end of the month to play there.
Also, has anyone tried the EquiSim software. I would like to know what are your impressions on this EquiSim software if you've tried it or know someone who has.

Thanks,

I've had EquiSim for a few months and I will tell you it's the best software that I have used. There are some aspects of the program that I still don't understand(I'm not great with a computer); One of the things that I like about it is that it doesn't come up with tons of chalk;I handicap a race like I always do and then I go back and look to see their top couple of picks in various categories. It may not be for everybody but it works for me; I play about once a week and I've hit a couple of big price horse; exatas , pick 3's and doubles;( I don't play triples or superfectas). As stated in a few previous threads go to their site and test run the product( it's a free Trial ). If you like the program and feel it will work for youbuy it; if not don't.

Keenland wed using Watts (winning at the track)

the first 4 races only used one or two pace lines. 5th thru 8th used at least 3 pace lines

HSH allows the user to select as many pacelines as they like. In addition each line can be weighted and/or adjusted by the user.

I use to use it. The one thing I can tell you about my experience with it was that a single paceline had more winners than using 2 or 3 PL. It also has a tough learning curve but after you learn it the daily entry is easy

Equisim is a good program if you like to check hundreds of different setting to make your database and then track the results.

It is great if you like to do research, it has great tools for that.

There is a guy named Bill who is an expert on it but you should to to the Thorotech web site and ask around.

Thanks,

RaidersAzeri RaceMaker allows you to choose from up to 10 pacelines. You can also edit a selected paceline (if desired) then use those pacelines to create a simulated race.

That had to be a rhetorical question, right? LOL

Back to the topic, most software programs I have used allow you to input or select whatever paceline you like. And I've used quite a few. Happy hunting.
