I prefer when the odds maker makes a low estimate for 'trap' horses.
The reverse, would be factoring in their own strong handicapping skills, and/or 'protecting' the public with high estimates for 'trap' horses.
Even in today's relatively efficient-markets, the Morning Line continues to have some 'anchor effect'
