does anyone have a legend or map that lets me know what the columns should be when I convert a bris result file? what I am specifically looking for are the adjusted fractional times.

If that isn't the one, it should be on this page:

(Not sure why I'm helping the competition!)

You can't help it, you're a nice guy! :)

CJ,

if you have a product that I can upload into excel that shows fraction of times adjusted for the BL at those points of call I am open to changing

Can you help them a little more by answering a dumb question? :D

In the Bris PP Generator, there's the option to show the horse's fractions instead of the leader's. How is that number generated? Does the data file contain the leader's fractions and the Generator does the conversion, or vice-versa? I'm assuming the former.

The field map for the files I use doesn't indicate which horse the fractions are for (fields 746-805). It only says that the fractions provided are "seconds and tenths." (But the generated PPs show the fractions not in tenths but in fifths, which is apparently the default view unless the user specifies otherwise.)

I really don't know. i used to use BRIS charts. DRF has a similar product and TimeformUS has an API but I haven't figured out how to use it yet.

I don't remember BRIS having adjusted fractions for the beaten lengths. I thought you had to do it yourself.

It has been a long time, but I would think it is the former where the program does the conversion.

thanks for all the replys, looks like i can get the data I want for pps from the pp generator with bris and hdw will allow me to get the fractions like I want from their results files once downloaded into excel.
