The two knifing stories that ran side by side, as it were, certainly suggest that FEDERAL legislation needs to be enacted very quickly that would put strict Knife Control Laws into place.

There should at least be a 5 day waiting period for knife purchases, and all knives should be registered. I don't buy that tired old argument that knives have a purpose and that we need them for cooking. This is just another lie by the right wingers.

Another solution? Maybe create a better dish washing detergent that will clean faster and quicker so guys don't get knifed in the back...
