Do you think any professionals focus their plays on favorites only?

Never heard of any. Would have to be a very high Win rate. Some of their payoffs would be $2.40, $2.80 etc., tough to come out ahead

If you're talking about WPS, I doubt it very much. For most folks, the big scores are what truly provide a profit. Not many folks are going to have unusually large scores (even considering their own comfort zone) on favorites.

Have you ever seen 6 favorites win the pick 6? Pick 3s all the time but what about the pick 6?

I know of one player, a friend of mine who did nothing but bet the favorite. One day he did in fact hit the pick six. He was expecting a huge payoff, instead he got back about 100.00.

I believe one of PA’s own plays legitimate favourites and does very well. I too thought it would be very difficult to churn out profits wagering in this fashion but I honestly believe it can be done. I have witnessed him consistently identify true and false favourites over a couple year period. When you double your money enough times in a day it can add up.

Shortest pick 6 that I had ever seen was at Aqueduct which paid $54. The conso paid $2.80.

That's a pretty good payout at Freehold!
