I didn't bet much. I can't bet at the racetrack like I used to. Its feels reckless to bet for realzies. I prefer to be in front of my laptop tools.

:ThmbUp: agreed. She's a keeper. She grew up at the racetrack , her dad was a popular maryland trainer. Gabby is easy conversation because she's a racetrack person, friendly and approachable.

Unlike others who are not so much racetrack'ry but more come uppery from the Connecticut horse jumping class.

Every so often the world generates a gem of a person. Gabby.

I was up at Aqueduct last month and I made my way over to you to say hello or at least a :ThmbUp: towards you. But it was the day that the transformer blew and you were outside the studio with a small crowd trying to piece something together. Not a good time. But it was good to be there and see you as well.

Love your pics and comments Suff. I moved to the First Coast( Ponte Vedra) a couple of years ago and occasionally make it to Tampa Bay Downs to get my live racing fix.

I have not been to Gulfstream in at least 15 years but looking at your pics I need to get in the car and take the drive.

They should pay you for this. You certainly make the place look appetizing.

Wear your walking shoes and crawl the place. Up down, end to end, all around.

Crawling the track is a lost art.

It sure is a lost art. And like you, I love hanging out at the paddock and then trekking to the top of the stretch for that view.. Been a track collector most of my adult life and have been to most tracks in the country and canada.Freak accident slowed me down from traveling but not walking a track. I would only stay away from the casino....that is where my wife woud be. I have no interest.

Gulfstream Casino is sadly sad. It's weak beyond description. I've spent less than 2 hours total in it. I've been to the Hard rock 6 times in 3 years. I can play black jack, but only when I am taking a break from the Crap table.. Playing Dice is my pleasure. And no Craps allowed here, anywhere, any casino.
