Whatever became of Jockey Maylan Studart ?

I followed her when she came from Brazil to South Florida. She did pretty well and then made a bold move to New York where her numbers became very sparse. When she won it was usually on long shots as most of her mounts were not very good horses. I never got the official word but heard she had a head injury and then just disappeared from Horse Racing. Recently a friend of mine said he saw Maylan doing commentary on Kentucky Derby day. If that’s true she seems to be an odd choice to ask about strategy etc when she rode in the bottom 10% at NYRA. Anyway I digress... where did she disappear to?
