But Ralph, you are not in "real time" that is always a drawback in both video and wagering.

They won't draw me to the track, but it will be great to use them when I'm there.

Now if only people would stop doing their handicapping at the betting machines....

They certainly look better than the old LCD boxes that United Tote used to have. They also have a lot of features to keep people standing in front of them for longer periods of time. How long is it going to be before someone figures out they can save a buck or two by using the program on line rather than buying one, or wants to watch a race at DMR on the tote machine with a line behind him/her.

This looks more like a machine appropriate individual use at the tables in the Jockey Club.

It sure will be nice to carry around a solid betting debit card offered by United Tote rather than the flimsy paper voucher.

Will they require a pre-established acct. and a plastic card? If so, this will alleviate a lot of my concern.

The old UT vouchers were worse than Autototes too, looks like they are really paying attention.
