City could still be tough. They get Liverpool at home on Thursday in a game they pretty much have to win.

City's main attention this year is the Champions League.

Still around half the games left to play in the PL.
Hard to see Liverpool blowing their advantage, though.
They are consistently playing at a higher level than all others.

That could change, but I don't see it happening.
City have lost a step - injuries haven't helped.
They have the talent to come back.
Do they have the fight left in them?

You do know that in the last 10 years the team leading at Christmas has gone on to win it 8 of 10 times. The two exceptions, yes, you guessed it, Liverpool.
