New Computer Issues

Suddenly, none of my DOS programs will run. They worked fine until today. Keep getting a message that the system is not suited to running dos.
Using XP. Wassup with this micro-crap stuff anyway? Seems to be at best a temporary system that randomly choses what it will and will not do.:mad:

Can I just copy those files from my other computer (same OS)?
