Gonna be watching for Z Cool in the 8th. Claimed from Roussel so gotta take a looong hard look at the critter. Sometimes when you take a runner from Louie they don't look quite right :cool: and sometimes it turns out ok. Claiming off him must be like the old candy machines when we were kids that had the pull levers and one would say "guess what?" and you took a chance on what was gonna come down da chute.... Yea, I remember those candy machines. I always got something with coconut, and I hated coconut, but was willing to "gamble" on the next pull. Look at me now. They brought back the concept in the machines that spit out lottery scratchers in the grocery store. The "mystery game" equals "we need to sell some of this loser". I love the voluntary tax. Only took me 5 years to figure out 16 million to 1 is tough. Still will take a swing at the Pick 3, but when they pay 500-1 for 1000-1 odds, I think the game is slanted a bit in their favor.

Boris, looks like we got some pure chocolate today w/ Z Cool. No coconuts. $6 won't send anybody to Tahiti but it'll keep me in beer and cigarette papers awhile.

The other Asmussen horse (term sheet) finished 2nd and took some strong $$ in the ex pools. Donnie didn't get into the horse too much late (didn't have to, really) and this one m/b a good bet later on. Damn I wish TRN had FG every day, not just Mondays, lol. I love Fairgrounds racing.
