But you know what? I haven't seen one story on Yahoo/AP about the controversy surrounding CBS and Dan Rather and the fake documents.....interesting....

For what it's worth, the Kerry Campaign has been running advertisements on Yahoo for Campaign Donations for many months now. The ad usually asks for $50.

I'm talking about the main Yahoo page and what stories they choose to highlight. Mainly, any political stories they run are AP pieces that are slanted against Bush.....I've pointed out these stories many a time.

When I come across some stories that paint Mr. Kerry in a poor light, I'll be sure to post those as well....maybe I just miss all of those kinds of stories, you think?

how bout 2 diff pages: #1 for IDEAS like outsourcing, trade, medicare etc and #2 for PERSONAL attacks like Bush wears

We are criticizing the bad apples in your profession. The link you posted says that CBS is now looking into thing.....well dang it! That should have been done BEFORE Ramadan Rather went on the air with it.
As far as nothing new today, that is a standard not used with stories critical of Kerry.
We disagre on the topic of sources, but my personal opinon if you have a secret source you have no soure. Anyone not willing to be identified is not worthy of believing. CBS has ample opportunity to interview people much closer to Killen and chose not to because they would not "fit" Rather's story. Rather has been a Bush enemy for years - ever since the fist Bush called him out on his hissy fit over a tennis match continuing and delaying his news broadcast. Rather's contribution to CBS can be summed up simply...he took over the number one news and rode it to the bottom.
And many out here believe that your profession is unfairly criticizing our president.
As always, present me with facts and I will admitt when I am wrong. CBS has offered nothing so far.

I think Yahoo covers the hard news fairly. However, even their Monkey News coverage is pretty grim these days.

People get mad when journalists make mistakes on the 3rd grade level, andicap. andicap..... Listen to what Staudt said yesterday. He flatly stated GWB did not get preferential treatment, did not get bumped into a slot in the ANG.

Staudt was supposedly the guy that could pull the strings to get GWB "in", yet he denied it ever happened....Story shot down right there, along with the "no one disputed the substance"... Did CBS ever interview Staudt, the top Officer in GWB's unit at the time of GWB entering the AF/ ANG?? Hell no, they didn't. They inteviewed Ben Barnes and an 86 yo pool secretary.

CBS got it wrong, and for all the wrong reasons. End of story.

You know, evenif all the documents were legit, all the lies about Bush were true, everything checked out, verified, and honest to God the truth.......what kind of a respectful news anchor would be offering this stuff up as news? It's only purpose is Ramadan Rather's personal vendetta against the Bush family for making him look the buffoon he really is and always has been....the man who sunk CBS News is proud title this shell of a man to wear.
Problem with CBS standing behind him is that now nobody at CBS has any creditbility. This whole thinkg is a direct attack on Bush becasue the trtuh about KErry got outed. Kerry made it the foundatin of his campaign and when people looked closer, they found bugs under the rock.
