Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help me,
When I turn on my Dell Desktop with Windows 10
The first thing that comes up is a full-screen picture like a painting,
Of some landscape or crashing waves on a beach.
A box with "Hello Binder" is supposed to appear inside the picture
When it does, I am supposed to enter my password
After I enter the password it goes to the regular windows desktop

The problem is lately for about a week The first full screen "Picture"
comes up but the box where I enter the password never comes up.
I just have to sit and look at the picture
The only solution I can get is to keep holding the start button on the tower till the computer shuts off, then retry. I eventually comes up.
After a few attempts

Why is this happening? And can it be fixed?
Thank you in advance for any help

Bless
Bill "Binder"

Somethings hanging as you load.

Use a password app? That’s my first guess.

Go into msconfig/et al

Look at what’s starting up. Turn em off one or two at a time

“You can disable startup software from task manager.

Open task manager, then click on More Details, then click on the Startup tab.

However, msconfig is still there, just type it in the Cortana search box.”

I have the same problem sometimes. I push Crtl+Alt+Del and then the password box comes up.

This may sound dumb but just hit the first character of your password. Mine does the same thing and as soon as I hit a key on the keyboard the log in field comes up and starts to fill with what I typed.
