Trump is just another politician, doing the same thing they all do. Taking too much credit for good news and getting too much blame for bad news.

The Dow isn't the real world, and it doesn't decide elections. And besides, the Obama fan boyz are still crediting him for the up side to date. :D

Burls refuses to play by the rules.

The tribe of Trump followers on here only want to discuss
the positives (in their minds) and never dwell on the negatives.

Of course, there is much more negative going on than they realize.
All their crystal balls and ouija boards say "boom town bonanza".

Measuring success and prosperity should have broader meaning.

What are the negatives other than the Left not liking policy and yelling at the sky?

The biggest negative effect will be the inevitable failure
(once again) of trickle down economics.

Much of what is being drummed up as positive right now will ultimately fail.
The middle class on down will suffer - Trump and the 1% bunch will prosper.

If this hasn't occurred within another 12-18 months, I will eat my words.
The positive spin from conservative media will continue as the ship sinks.

If the stock market doesn't occasionally suffer sharp declines, then, how else are the "amateur investors" supposed to get scared into selling their shares...and, how else are the wealthy supposed to rebuy their stocks at a bargain price?

During the Obama years the gap between the rich and the have nots rose from 600% to 1,000%.

This gap essentially started in the 1970s and has risen out of sight every year. It has little to do with who is in the oval office, but more to do with the very greed of our elites.

Read more. Learn more. Don't just regurgitate the thoughts and ideas of what you see on CNN or MSNBC.

We got there at noon. I took the day off from betting horses. Everyone was super nice and friendly as people talked to all the people around them. We met people from Illinois and Indiana that had driven down to be there. They assigned the tiny group of protestors a spot across the street from the event. I only saw them because they were on the news when i got home. There were a few things that stood out. There were definitely more women than men. If you watched the news you wouldn't believe that . They were very vocal and not just there as a guest of some man as they were in groups with other women. The other standout is that there were lots of young people. They weren't radical student leftist. They were just regular looking young people but there were lots of them with Trump gear on. Well run and organized event. We were there from noon till 9pm and talked to hundreds of people and listened to others conversations. Never once did I hear a disparaging word about any group except for Democrats. And they were being judged not on their color but on the content of their character , or lack thereof.
