Picks for Saratoga Saturday:
R1 #9 Slippery Slick-Servis/Castellano click at a good clip. Chased a runaway winner in last, pace picture looks better today.
R2 #12 Lasik-Has shown ability in limited starts. Long backstretch run should negate bad post.
R3 #3 Summer Rainbow-Makes first start for decent barn. Prado returns.
R4 #8 Our Friend Timmy-Had much trouble in debut. Gets main guy Castellano up today.
R5 #1 Ten Cents A Shine-Showed signs of life when dropped for a tag. Turf is a good idea, he has decent breeding for it.
R6 #10 Storm Warning-Didn’t fire his best shot obviously. Experience and longer distance should help.
R7 #2 Hot Hand-Has had excuses in last few starts. May establish a clear lead in here. I want at least 5/1 here.
R8 #5 A Huevo-Talented sprinter, no doubt. Dickinson no stranger to laid up runners. Price may be OK.
R9 Pass
R10 #4 Jeeves-My longshot today. Gets a longshot trainer/jock, drops and shortens to best distance. Double digit odds expected.
R11 #9 Sell the Rallies-Maiden breaker was a good one. Something near that performance today may get the job done.
