There are several threads that are posted on computer problems and how to deal with them. Do a search and you'll find your answer.

Can someone tell me why I can't move my dasktop icons? Each time I try they pop back to where they were.

Right click on the desktop somewhere where there aren't icons and choose ARRANGE ICONS BY

If it's set to Auto Arrange, then that is why they snap back to where they were.....

I'm speaking on behalf of Windows 2000 here....I assume Win XP is similar if that is what you are using.

If your xp is running that slow you probably have tons of spyware that is taking over your system. I recommend you download a freeware package called AD-Aware from their site just do a search for it and you find it. Install this and run updates to get the latest. Then run it it will take about 10 minutes. When you see all the spyware it finds make sure you delete it all. Believe me this will help. GOOD LUCK!

Use Crap Cleaner it's far better than Ad-Aware to me. It can do the job in about 30 sec. I run CC than run ad-aware and ad-aware finds nothing. www.ccleaner.com.
