Happy Bastille Day to all our amis from France (Don't knock the French-they invented mayonaisse).This is the closest thing France has to an Independence Day, celebrating the storming of the Bastille prison where King Louis and Marie Antoinette kept the political prisoners.

And the best national anthem of them all?."La Marseillaise",IMHO.Other anthems tend to be turgid but the French anthem is stirring with a great sing along chorus.Marchon, marchon,baby!
