Just curious. Do you feel safer today than on September 12, 2001?

I definitely know I'm safer today than I felt on September 9/12/2001, but doubt anyone will ever feel as safe as we (though we) did on September 10, 2001 again. We felt safe then, and probably felt safe on Sepetmber 10, 2000, but obviously we never were 'truly' safe, nor totally can be - not as long as anyone in our midst decides to attack us from within, let alone outside.

For all the Bush-bashing he doesn't get enough credit for the fact that we haven't had any terrorist attacks in the U.S. since then while they have continued to go on around the world. No doubt we are still the prime target, yet no attacks. That is not a coincidence. I just hope I still feel safe on November 3rd.

hard to beleive 4 "No's"....taking the question at face value...considering my frame of mind on Sept. 12th....absolutely yes..I feel safer than I did then.

I feel safe and I'm willing to feel even SAFER if that's what these clowns want. Go ahead, try something.

That's part of the reason why nothing much has happened.

But I'm sure they're going to give us more opportunities to feel safer. That's how foolish they are. Go ahead, "make OUR day!"

You think this is some kind of a game? Guess again.

I'm speaking to both the questioner and to those who'd like to test the hypothesis.

Who ever said that it was a game. It was simply a question. What hypothesis do you think that I was testing?

SHOVE IT!

Are you married to John Kerry?

What exactly is your point? The U.S.A. will respond to protect it's vital interests. You have a problem with that?

I do not have a point. How do you sence an agenda from this thread?

I was asking because I think that if most people in the country feel safer when they vote than they did on 9/12/01 then Pres Bush will likely be re-elected.

What do you think that my politics are (and how would you tell from my writings)? Would it surprise you if I told you that I contrubted $$ to GWB in 1999? Well I did. So **** off.

If you think Yes, then vote for Bush because he will continue to make things better.

If you think No, then vote for Bush because Kerry will only undo much of what has already been put into place.

If you are unsure, then vote for Bush because I told you to.
