Picks for Del Mar Monday:
R3 #2 Tender Teen-Probably not the soundest horse. But she'll probably be clear of these on the turn, a very good thing at DMR. Likely low price is the drawback.
R5 #7 Chosen Hero-Makes the plunge and tries 2 turns again. Switch to no-name jock will help the price. Last trip was a nightmare but he still made up ground at the end.
R6 #7 Jennifer's Dance-Will get no respect at the windows, but she looks like she can run some. Shows a very nice drill over this surface, and gets a good jock in Smith.
R8 #5 Sheriff Joe-Got beat by a well meant FTS last time out. Should get the lead in here unless another FTS in here can run early.
