Question about Euro PP's

I have never heard an explanation of why the Euro pp's don't include position at the various calls like ours. Do they consider this info unimportant?

The vast difference in tracks is a lot to do with it.
Some run uphill, some down. Others left handed, some right.
The biggest difference of all, though, are turf conditions.
They vary greatly - even at the same track.

That being said, there is room for improvement with their PPs.
They are very basic. Pace ratings shouldn't be too hard to put
together, with adjustments required for the turf conditions.

They have increased the number of all weather surfaces there.
No reason at all that US style PPs could not be produced at
those tracks. Underfoot conditions remain pretty consistent.
