A true versatile grinder that might not be good enough to win the derby but is the perfect exotics play.... and hell if things got wacky in the derby and the race fell apart you know hes gonna be right in the mix, so you never know... However, worth noting, he is from the 0-51 Storm Cat line...

I've noticed plenty of good with him too. His best races have come on the front and that is what will do him in IMO. I think he's slowed a touch since the SF Davis race. He is a gutty and as you said amazingly versatile horse. I think he could still rate and run a fine race. A must use in the exotics.

Flameaway reminds me of Gun Runner. Dances every dance and gives good effort.

Just to add to the original post I think he has had 5 or 6 different jockeys and not only has he won on grass, synthetic and dirt but he has won on both fast and muddy dirt tracks. Got to love this horse as a bettor. Win or lose you know your going to get a honest effort every time.
