Payback for the fourth Thursday in November.Rumor has it that these turkeys have been in back channel contact with the Islamic State.If we are going to be cowed into not having turkey on Thanksgiving Day, the terrorists have won.

In other news, Main Police have been investigating a string of break-ins where Cranberry sauce and StoveTop Stuffing have been stolen. They do not believe the two cases are connected.

Obviously political correctness has reared its ugly head.Turkeys cry " birdism" when the high crime rates of their species are pointed out but GLM (Gobblers Lives Matter) ignore turkey-on-turkey crime.Law enforcement's hands are tied as politicians proclaim "sanctuary farms" where Butterball, Tyson and Jennie -O cannot inquire about a turkey's legal status.

Ironic seeing this story on the turkey break in; we just had four turkeys in our parking lot where I work. Two came right up to the window.
