Living in TVLand

Did anybody else catch the Living in TVLand special about Dick Van Patten ? It showed how much he loves horseracing. He went to Santa Anita during the show with Jack Klugman and Tim Conway (imagine those conversations !) and it showed him with the racing form at home and making bets at the track. His wife said he loved the track more than anything else he does. It was interesting. It would be neat if he posted on this board. Seems like a good guy.

I was behind him in line to buy tickets upstairs in the Turf club at Hollywood Park about 14 months back. He buys a fistful of exacta tickets. I almost get shut out waiting on him. I just wanted to tap him on the shoulder and say "Eight is enough"

He owns a couple of ponies too..........
