Compared to President Trump’s five predecessors, however, the Trump White House has seen a record level of staff turnover amid truly unusual circumstances.

More nonsense from the King of Nonsense. Some of those men took retirements they had been planning for some time. Some were reassigned to other positions in the bureau as Christopher Wray put his own people in administrative posts. Something every new executive does. Some were fired for refusing to kiss Trump's ring.

Talk about a dishonest misrepresentation of something. Do you even read the links you post? The money was paid, not for dirt on Trump, but for delivery of stolen NSA cyberweapons.

From the New York Times story:
Several American intelligence officials said they made clear that they did not want the Trump material from the Russian, who was suspected of having murky ties to Russian intelligence and to Eastern European cybercriminals. He claimed the information would link the president and his associates to Russia. Instead of providing the hacking tools, the Russian produced unverified and possibly fabricated information involving Mr. Trump and others, including bank records, emails and purported Russian intelligence data.

In fact, American intelligence officials ended the operation when the began to suspect that the true purpose of the Russians was to incite discord among Americans.

From the New York times story:
But his apparent eagerness to sell the Trump “kompromat” — a Russian term for information used to gain leverage over someone — to American spies raised suspicions among officials that he was part of an operation to feed the information to United States intelligence agencies and pit them against Mr. Trump. Early in the negotiations, for instance, he dropped his asking price from about $10 million to just over $1 million. Then, a few months later, he showed the American businessman a 15-second clip of a video showing a man in a room talking to two women.

Quite the opposite of what you claim, American Intelligence official were negotiating with the Russian for the return of NSA cyber weapons, not dirt on Trump.

And the money was not paid by Dems it was paid by NSA.

The left wing mothership directed the term "conspiracy theories" start being used for all things rotten at the DOJ and FBI. The minions fell in line.

It won’t be a conspiracy theory when the IG Report comes out. It won’t be a conspiracy theory when after the IG Report comes out and DOJ will be under pressure to empanel multiple grand juries. A special prosecutor may come first and in fact may have to come first based on the depth and width of this mess.

We are years away from the end of this mess. But, the one thing that may speed it up is the fact that the FBI granted multiple levels of immunity to individuals right in the middle this mess.

It shouldn't take years. There's no reason why this investigation (or any) should go this slow. A few months should be all that anyone needs. I can interview and gather evidence by the dozens in a single day. It's unacceptable that they drag this stuff out.

E.W. "Bill" Priestap the enigma.

Those above FBI Asst. Director in charge of Counterintelligence Bill Priestap are.

James Comey, James Baker, Andrew McCabe all gone.

Below Bill Priestap were Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Jim Rybicki, Trisha Anderson,
Mike Kortan, all gone.

Parallel to Bill Priestap John Carlin, Sally Yates, Mary McCord, Bruce Ohr and David Laufman, all caught in the web.

Only invisible Bill Priestap remains, still in position still employed still in play.

The web we weave when we try and deceive. My guess?

When things are this important, you don't want to let anyone off the hook, now do you? Consider too that up to this point a large section of the public has been largely unaware of what has been going on, and they need sufficient time to digest and comprehend the truths and seriousness of the crimes.

I don't want the let anyone off the hook, but that doesn't mean the ones investigating feel the same way.

Look at the Hillary investigation. They let months go by as she deleted emails to get the emails supposedly turned over to them. They then go more months before they interview the target of their investigation. That's just screwed up.

I'd disagree about going at a glacial pace being a benefit. It gives time for destruction and obstruction and to conspire with stories and to think of alibis. If you want to find out the truth, it's often best to strike fast and stay ahead of those you're investigating. And all this time for the public to digest just plays into the hands of the guilty. One of their ways to win, particularly in the political arena is to deflect and confuse, and the more time they have to do that, the more confused the public becomes and they also tire of it and just want it to go away.

This is taking way, way too long for me to have any confidence that the public will ever be given anything convincing and decisive.

Bingo! And that falls right on Jeff Sessions shoulders. The Hillary cases are easy to get an indictment on. She broke several laws that are demonstrably obvious to anyone with a pulse. Intent is not required and in spite of the FBI brigade of her personal praetorian guard, she committed multiple crimes.

Jeffrey Sessions was one of the worst Attorney General's the U.S has ever had IMHO. He was nothing short of scared to death of the Clinton Crime family and I imagine Bill Barr was as well because it was also abundantly clear that he wouldn't touch those creeps with a ten foot pole either. Jeff Sessions was totally worthless on every level within the scope of his position and quite frankly simply went away and hid as an A.G. He was an open embarrassment and as such couldn't even do the one right thing by ultimately resigning before getting fired for being so hapless and inept.
