Because there are so many Hate Trump posters on here, I thought I'd post yet another story highlighting the business community utilizing the great U.S. tax policy and economic outlook, thanks primarily to Donald J. Trump.

http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2018/01/23/jpmorgan-hikes-pay-by-10-opening-hundreds-more-branches-on-tax-reform.html

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) will invest $20 billion in the U.S. economy, with this new investment that will further accelerate the company’s growth made possible by the company’s performance as well as tax reform and what the firm calls a "more constructive regulatory and business environment.”

Through this investment, the firm will develop hundreds of new branches in the U.S., increase wages and benefits for hourly U.S. employees, make increased small business and mortgage lending commitments, add 4,000 jobs and increase philanthropic investments.

It gets better throughout the story.

Can't wait until tomorrow because Trump gets better every day.

If the internet is slow today, it is because horsey is desperately searching for an appropriate meme to prove this is bad.

i have the feeling that Disney and all the other companies that gave their employees g-notes will be giving them a lot more of them in the future.

the employees not only got the extra $1000 but they got some tax breaks to go with it. i think i am going to head down to Orlando and get on the Disney payroll because i am on of the few that is going to be paying more in taxes due to being in the Real Estate business, having mortgages to payoff, and living in a tax state of Mass. i don't really mind paying extra though as long as it helps some of the people that really could use the help after such a rough ride the last 20 years.

He'll truly be on a Mission Impossible! In fact, what we can learn from this is that these tax cuts can truly stimulate the economy, with fresh new found money from the private sector as opposed to BO's garbage of phony stimulation by the redistribution of wealth -- taking from Peter to stimulate Paul.

You guys are totally ignoring the most important
Disney story from yesterday. Hardly a surprise, though.
Minnie Mouse gets a star in Hollywood - 40 years after Mickey.
Try to stick to the stuff that really matters.

Minnie's star will buy how many extra groceries, help pay how many mortgages, help pay how many rents, help pay down how many student loans, add how much money to discretionary spending budgets, add how much money to savings accounts, etc., etc., etc.?

And none us are surprised at your non-answer either. You're just another liberal empty suit. :coffee:

I am very happy for Minnie, receiving a well-deserved honor. Better late than never, I always say.

But, the best story out of Disney in recent weeks is their purchase from Fox the movie studio, film library, and other assets more in line of their business model.

This deal clears the way for Fox to be a pure-play sports media and cable enterprise with the results being Fox becomes a future cash generating gold mine.

Another good move by Rupert, who made very few mistakes in a life-long business career (the exception being putting his two idiot sons in charge).

The delusional left wing media wants people to believe that the Democrats will re-capture the House in November and gain seats in the Senate.

How are they going to do this when the Democrats voted against the Trump Tax Bill of 2017, are on record of shutting down the government, cutting funds for the US military and of course, supporting illegal immigration, Antifa, open borders, higher taxes, and also for support of a corrupt FBI, CIA, and DoJ?

Bet all you want come November on the GOP winning big in both House and Senate.

And this is precisely why they hate Trump! Hillary was next in line to fill "Lil Kim's" undies, as Obama had done for eight miserable years. Oh well...the best laid plans of mices and men....

Two words for Wednesday: Fed Ex

I missed by 2 days:

FedEx Corporation is announcing three major programs today following the recently enacted U.S. Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:

1) Over $200 million in increased compensation, about two-thirds of which will go to hourly team members by advancing 2018 annual pay increases by six months to April 1st from the normal October date. The remainder will fund increases in performance-based incentive plans for salaried personnel.

2) A voluntary contribution of $1.5 billion to the FedEx pension plan to ensure it remains one of the best funded retirement programs in the country.

3) Investing $1.5 billion to significantly expand the FedEx Express Indianapolis hub over the next seven years. The Memphis SuperHub will also be modernized and enlarged in a major program the details of which will be announced later this spring.

So why do we need unions when employers are so realistic?
