View Full Version : Patriots vs. Titans. “Alexa” says…

I just finishing watching a sports segment on one our Boston TV stations. The sportscaster, Bob Halloran, put together a whimsical piece where he asked “Alexa” the final score of the Patriots-Titans game this Sat. evening at “The Razor”. She responded: Patriots 31, Titans 13. That means, according to “Alexa,” the Patriots cover the 2-touchdowns (last I saw: 13.5) spread. Last I saw, the over-under was pegged at: 47. So maybe the “under” is in order. One final point: rain in Boston area all-day Saturday. It should lighten up by game-time. Field will likely be slick. Will Brady have trouble throwing a wet football? Remember Deflate-gate. Good Luck!

More and more , I'm leaning toward: "Under". The rain should have stopped by 8:15 kickoff time, but any residual moisture will be freezing on the surface of the field, that is unless they can dry it off before game-time. For me, it's a game-time decision. The paramount issue: What is the condition of the field at Gillette Stadium?
