I wonder if AT&T's "generosity" will eventually filter down to its loyal longstanding customers. I originally agreed to an "unlimited" wireless plan encompassing 3 lines at a cost of $169 a month...and in 2 years time, my cell-phone bill now stands at $300 monthly.

Take your complaint to corporate by writing to the CEO. (I'm being serious.)
His secretary will call you and then you verbally can make your case and get another deal and even a credit. AT&T's business ethics leaves much to be desired.

Me thinks that the amount of material available to him making Barack Hussein Obama look like the incompetent fool #1 is abundant. Look forward to being floored in 2018 & 2019, forget any poll that you hear because he has Nixon's playbook and will be reelected.

Wow, and I thought you were one sharp dude.

I pay $48 a month for unlimited calls and data on my pay as you go plan with a phone I paid for up front. I didn't want it and reluctantly use it, so maybe I'm not so bright either.

I pay less than $215 for directv (with sports pkg), three phones & unlimited data and Internet.

I've been a lightweight trump doubter but the past week or so has been impressive. His actions are like a pre schooler, but the results of the tax bill so far from the business community has been impressive.

Next step, eliminate obamacare ...and eliminate tax funded abortions, birth control, and any other expense to taxpayers to cover individuals who can't quite seem to get their shit together.

That Obama...he was quite a guy, robbing from the middle class to give to the lazy

Thask, in all seriousness look around. Sprint is promoting a lot of discounts / near giveaways. My AAA membership offered me a discount of half my normal pricing on my gold plan ($85 or so) to switch to Sprint at a sizable discount. One phone call and they offered half pricing on both AAA AND Sprint for two lines.

For directv and Internet, they're all notorious for offering nothing until you call to switch to another provider. To keep you they'll discount the hell out of the service, if the timing is right (seasonal discounts / specials).

I wound up with directv, AT&T Internet, *Verizon* phones, one of which is a business line. All for about $215 after taxes etc... It takes time to find the deals (and patience) but it's worth it IMO.

Good luck to you

I think the current popularity numbers are based on the negative reporting by the extremely biased MSM. When reality hits and folks start seeing more money in their pockets and a significantly growing economy, you are going to see completely different numbers. I suspect you are going to be one of those who will benefit by keeping more of your own money, but hey, I guess you will just have to suffer. :)

Boeing is spending 60 times as much ($18B) on stock buybacks as it is on employee related investments ($300M),

And just what are "Employee related investments?
How about $100,000,000 for charitable giving and matching employee giving.
$100,000,000 for improved training facilities.
$100,000,000 million for "Office of the future facilities.

Not one cent for wages.

But only a disgruntled Dem would turn their nose up at 300 million in employee benefits and bonus

All employees should be thankful for the great working conditions and zero wage movement under Obama during the previous 8 years. Amirite?

When will we hear about bonuses coming from the heads of successful and cash rich tech companies, especially those run by uber lefties such as Apple (Tim Cook), Google (Larry Page and Sergey Brin), Amazon (Jeff Bezos), Salesforce (Marc Beniof) and a few others in the Tech Left cabal.

Come on guys. Treat your employees and lower level workers with some respect for a change.

The company I work for generally gives out 15% bonuses at year end. ( I know the liberals will never believe that) This year, due to this tax deal, there is talk of 20%. That's huge.

What employee jumps up and down with joy over that crap? Even more to the point, what employee runs home to their spouse and says: "I just got a big fat raise. Because my company is investing in charitable giving and matching employee giving, improved training facilities, and an Office of the future facilities!! Let's celebrate by eating in again tonight!" :jump::jump:

Obviously, not a union hump.
Who but a greedy bottom feeding union boy would bitch about getting a raise?
They would only cry that they didn't get enough.

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/454895/more-hiring-and-bonuses-companies-respond-what-nancy-pelosi-called-armageddon

And what's even worse than these bonuses, raises, etc, is that people will actually spend that money in the private sector, thereby contributing to the growth of the economy -- and this cycle will continue with the new tax cuts, new marginal rates, etc.. This is what the socialist pigs in D.C. hate the most -- a thriving economy whereby The People (who the hogs think are their subjects) get to keep more of what they have earned and contribute to a thriving economy. The biggest threat to globalism-socialism is a healthy, thriving economy wherein more and more people get to participate, eventually coming to understand just how irrelevant government is to free-market Capitalism and Prosperity. If there's anything socialists can't stand, it is Prosperity because a prosperous, productive people tend to, over time, develop attitudes of independence and self-sufficiency and, therefore, develop a healthy distrust of oppressive, controlling, anti-progress big government.

Make no mistake about what we're all witnessing: The liberals in this country are besides themselves and gnashing their teeth at Trump and the Republicans.
