What 's the thinking about Health Care? I personally think that
our FED should & could pay for ~~95% of all Health Care costs
for ~95% of our citizens--- all under SS program & I know that
last year 2 major economists have done this math --- and it saves
us billions as well!!! I just read where our Big3 auto guys tack
on ~~$1.4K to every auto just to cover their Health Coverage.
So, what do Kerry-Bush say & don't you think outsourcing +
costs of Health Care should be MAIN points? Ideas Anyone?

I think education should be free. The government should pay for all education. Housing should also be free, and food too. The Government should pay for all food, medical care, housing, and education, "Cradle to Grave"

By the way, where does the Government get all their money from?

They must be very good at making money since they have so much of it! Maybe they should make all the money and then spend it for whatever we need.

I'm sure we could do it if we wanted to raise the lowest tax bracket to about 40%. But the waste and fraud would be in the tens of billions every year. Look at Medicare. Lawyers won't vote for it unless you're allowed to sue the Government for its mistakes.

Derek,
Can you show me were socialized medicine has really worked?

I think Canada shows what 'free' healthcare gets you.. It gets you 50% income tax and massive delays on any medical tests or procedures you want done.. This is why Albany is flooded with Canadians wanting medical care..

In theory, it would be great to have free healthcare, but the results could be totally counterproductive.

The more efficient the government proves it is, the more we can turn over our lives to it.
The government has not proven it is efficient at what they run now, like the VA health care; so why give it more control yet?
Emergency health care is guaranteed now to all by law.
